Cast Iron Seared Skirt Steak
This seared skirt steak makes for a delicious, fast and easy way to kick up tonight's dinner.
INGREDIENTS
- Skirt steak (~1 lb.) can also use flank steak
- Rosemary (fresh), 1-2 sprigs
- Garlic (4-5 cloves)
- Microbrew Tea Co. BBQ Honey (1 tbsp)
- Salt + Pepper to taste
- Butter (1 tbsp)
INSTRUCTIONS
- Bring a cast iron skillet to high heat
- Add butter and bring to near brown
- Add rosemary, garlic cloves and skirt steak to skillet
- Sear steak for 2-3 min. per side (for medium rare), moving steak, garlic and rosemary around the skillet. Turn over steak and repeat
- Once garlic and rosemary are caramelized, remove from skillet
- Add BBQ honey
- Remove honey coated skirt steak from skillet and let rest
- Slice and drizzle addtional honey (if desired)
